MLA Style Guides
In English classes, you should
always document your papers using MLA style. Here are some websites with guidelines
to assist you. You should purchase a basic handbook, such as Diana Hacker's handbook,
for grammar and citation advice, or purchase the MLA Style Manual, current
edition, to use as a resource.
Purdue
University Online Writing Lab guidelines Includes a printable guide (pdf
format) that you can take away.
Diana
Hacker's online guide to source citations (all styles) Provides guidelines
for all major style types; some printable takeaways. Long
Island University citation guide A color-coded guide to creating correct
citations.
The Citation Machine An
interactive guide that will help you create correct citations. Good in a pinch,
but doesn't really teach you how to do it yourself. |
